Tonight, our legal specialists in relationship and family law will be celebrating recognition for an incredible year at the inaugural ‘British Family Awards 2024’ as they have been shortlisted for ‘Family Law Team of the Year’
The Family Law Team at Dutton Gregory Solicitors learned of it having been named a finalist at the national awards after one of its most successful years in the firm’s 76-year history.
‘We have not only recruited new faces to our expanding team in the past 12 months, but have made great efforts to develop the services we offer in line with modern families,’ explains the Partner leading the team, Jonathan Whettingsteel.
‘In addition to the expected cases of separation, divorce and subsequent financial and parental issues, we have championed Co-habitation Agreement, Pre and Post Nuptial Agreements, legal services for the LGBTQIA+ community, and the complicated legal process of surrogacy.’
Jonathan, who is the author of professional guide ‘A Practical Guide to Internal and External Child Relocation’ and is part of a campaign group for the rights of grandparents, is delighted with the recognition from being shortlisted for the award.
‘2023 was a demanding, but rewarding year,’ he reflects. ‘We broke into the listings for the Legal 500 for the first time and tonight we will be part of the British Family Awards, standing alongside some the best firms in the profession. It has given us the pride and motivation to keep building on what we have accomplished and, at the end of the day, help as many people as we can.’
