Rights of Lights

This is the right of a property to receive light through windows or other openings.  In many cases a right of light is interfered with by a development, a large fence or other obstructions that are built afterwards.

Rights of Light can be acquired in a number of ways and therefore legal advice should be sought to ascertain whether your property has or will be affected.  If a breach is proven, injunctions can be granted as well as damages.
