Dutton Gregory Solicitors has underpinned its growth in the North of England with a trio of new appointments at its Liverpool office. Responding to an increasing number of opportunities in the property sector, the business has committed significant investment to attract new talent and bolster its property team in the north.
Gayle Hough, a licenced conveyancer since 2002, joins as Residential Property Executive, with extensive experience in volume residential conveyancing, having previously worked for Jackson Lees Group Ltd as Deputy Department Head for seven years. In her previous role, Gayle was responsible for several legal teams, as well as the post-completion team. Prior to this, Gayle acted as Head of Department for Gregsons Solicitors from 2012 to 2016 and headed up the residential conveyancing department.
Daniel Leith has also been appointed Residential Property Executive, having previously worked as a Senior Conveyancer for Nyland and Beattie, and prior to that as Conveyancing Fee Earner Head of Residential at Prosperity Law LLP in Liverpool. With over 18 years of experience, he has a wealth of knowledge in all aspects of residential and commercial conveyancing. Daniel has worked in the North West for much of his career, and has built up a number of strong business relationships and contacts in the region.
The third new hire is Kalia Walker who has joined as Legal Assistant, having recently graduated from Liverpool John Moores University with a BSC Law degree. During her studies, Kalia worked as a Legal Assistant for LJMU Legal Advice Centre and gave legal advice to the public in areas such as housing, civil, and family matters.
Alex Gregory-Chialton, Office and Business Development Manager for the North at Dutton Gregory Solicitors, said: “We are thrilled to have appointed three new team members with the experience and knowledge to help develop the service offering from our growing Liverpool Office. This is an exciting time, due to the demand in Liverpool – and more broadly across the North West – for the best property law advice. Bolstering the team with a wide range of sector knowledge, our new colleagues will support us in driving forward our operations, enabling us to take on more clients. We want to continue growing the team here. We are looking forward to continued growth in the region and want to grow the team further, so please do get in contact if you are interested in a new opportunity.”
Having launched the Liverpool office in May of this year, Dutton Gregory also has a network of six offices across the South of England. The rapidly expanding law firm made the strategic decision to reflect its national client base, by investing in a new office base in the North of England to accommodate 12 legal professionals. Located at Exchange Court, Dale Street, in the commercial district of Liverpool, the office supports a flexible way of working, and is a contemporary fit-out within an iconic historic building. Exchange Court is opposite the city’s town hall and located close to James Street and Moorfield railway stations.
